With ChatGPT Work and Astra, you can delegate a task involving several steps: finding information, examining files, organising results and preparing a deliverable for review.

Want to understand a topic? Ask for a source-backed note. Comparing proposals? Supply the documents and criteria. Analysing activity? Attach the spreadsheet. You can also prepare a presentation or create an image from a brief, depending on the tools available in your account.

This guide shows how to turn that intention into a usable request, then support the work through to the result. You will find several examples to choose what is useful today.

The right starting point.

Choose the workspace, then the model available in your account.

In the ChatGPT app, open Work. Select GPT-6 Astra if it is available in your selector. Work suits tasks requiring several steps or a deliverable to review; a conversation is often enough for a short question.

If you can choose the effort level, Medium is a possible starting point for your trial. Adjust according to complexity, results and your usage budget. This setting is not a universal optimum.

A useful starting point specifies what you want, what it is for and what Astra can use. Add a simple check: sources for research, calculations for a spreadsheet, format and text for an image.

For your first trial, choose a topic you know well enough to judge the result. Attach the files mentioned and replace the brackets. The examples below describe tasks to try, not results already obtained.
