What is a tracking technology?
A cookie or similar mechanism can store or read information on your device when you use an online service. Some are essential for operation or security; others are used, for example, to measure audiences, personalise content or display advertising.
Current website configuration
The suggested language follows the language preferences sent by your browser. If you use the language selector, the functional initial_ia_locale cookie stores only your choice of French or English on this device for one year. You can change it with the selector or delete this cookie to return to your browser’s preference. It is not used for audience measurement.
Initial IA does not include advertising trackers, retargeting tools or tracking social buttons. Website traffic and main actions may be measured by our own tool hosted on our infrastructure. It receives no names, email addresses, company names or content entered in forms.
After you consent, your choice is stored in the browser and a random identifier limited to the session helps us understand a journey. Events are limited to functional actions, such as opening the calendar, successfully submitting a form or using a tool. Measurement remains disabled if you decline or your browser enables Do Not Track.
Google Analytics 4 may also be enabled as a supplementary view. Without a configured GA4 identifier, no Google script is loaded. When configured, basic consent mode completely blocks the tag until acceptance; advertising storage, advertising data and personalisation remain denied.
PostHog Cloud EU supplements this measurement with page views, functional actions and session recordings. Its script loads only after your consent. Entered fields are masked; network bodies and headers, embedded frames and the administration panel are excluded. URL parameters and fragments are removed from events.
The Cal.com booking module only loads after an explicit click on an appointment button or when the dedicated page opens. It may then use technical mechanisms needed to display availability and make a booking. Email remains an alternative without loading the module when the calendar is not opened.
The French infrastructure operated by PRODISTRIB may use mechanisms strictly necessary for delivery, protection or traffic balancing. These technical mechanisms are not used for advertising.
Your choice
On your first visit, the website offers you the choice to accept or decline audience measurement and session recording. No browsing event is transmitted before acceptance. Declining is as easy as accepting and does not prevent access to content or forms.
The same choice covers internal measurement, GA4 and PostHog. After acceptance, PostHog stores a random identifier in local storage without creating a named profile. Withdrawing consent stops recording and clears PostHog measurement storage. Previous refusals are preserved; acceptance given before this addition is requested again. If GA4 is enabled, acceptance also allows cookies such as _ga. A later refusal blocks new events and triggers deletion of GA4 cookies accessible from the domain.
Mechanisms strictly necessary for the requested service or its security remain transparently documented. If an audit of changes to the internal tool, Cal.com or their configuration identified a new purpose, activation would be blocked until the individual had made a choice.
Before changes are introduced
Before adding Google Analytics, a new measurement purpose, embedded video, payment, external chat, advertising, a social button or another third-party service, Initial IA will audit its tracking technologies. The internal tool and booking module will also be checked again after each significant change.
Control through your browser
You can view, block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential mechanisms may, however, impair website access. These settings do not replace prior consent where a publisher wishes to use tracking technologies that require it.
