## Fictional example REC-01, working version 1

Proposed owner: receiving manager. Business validation not performed.
Trigger: physical delivery associated with a purchase order.
Inputs: 10 units ordered; 9 received, including 1 damaged.

1. The receiver finds the order and compares reference and received quantity.
2. They record ordered = 10, received = 9, damaged = 1.
3. Under this exercise's fictional rule, they record 8 usable units and isolate the damaged unit.
4. They report 1 missing and 1 damaged unit to the manager with the receiving record.
5. The manager keeps the case open until the discrepancy is handled. No automatic closure.

If the order reference is missing: stop and ask the manager to locate it.
Completion evidence: checked record, discrepancy addressed and closure authorised under the adapted rule.

## Review to perform

- Can the reader find the correct order without spoken explanation?
- Do they distinguish ordered, received, damaged and usable quantities?
- Do they know who can authorise closure?
- Have local receiving and safety rules been approved?

Executed kit check: quantities only. No physical test or regulatory validation.
